Ray Legel’s New Book “More Tails of a Horseshoer” Now Available!

Days before his death on July 26, 2025, Ray Legel, CJF, dropped off the manuscript for his second book of stories at the printer for a quote. In the wake of his death, his daughter Lyndsay Legel-Carmody and dear friend Mike Hansaker, CF, were determined to bring his book to fruition.
Ray’s first book, titled Tails of a Horseshoer, was published in 2002. The stories were entertaining, educational, and touching. His second book, More Tails of a Horseshoer, is 74 pages of similarly-themed stories with illustrations by Cynthia Ohrt Lentz and many photos. There’s something perhaps a little more special with this book, as it helps us to hear his beloved voice, even though he is no longer here on this earth. If one listens closely enough, you can probably hear him giggling alongside you as you read his stories.
